Problems of chemistry of the diterpen (resin) acids produced by Russian forest conifers are discussed in this monograph. The main objects for discussion are the acids produced by practically feasible methods from soft resins, colophony and also by extraction of waste products from timber processing complex: abietic, dehydroabietic, levopimaric, pimaric, isopimaric and lambertianic acids. New thing in the approach is the representation of resin acid derivatives as the object of fine organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. Pharmacological properties of resin acids and its derivatives obtained by purposeful synthesis are summarized for the first time. Collected information about pharmacology of plant metabolites with structures related to discussed resin acids. Summarized scientific results including those of authors of present monography dedicated to purposeful transformation of resin acids as well as revelation of pharmacologically promising new derivatives. Underlined the reasonability of involvement of resin acids derivatives and other woody plant metabolites as the subject of inquiry aimed at the development of original medications. For specialists in chemistry of plant compounds, fine organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry and chemistry of high-molecular compounds.

Rassmotreny problemy khimii diterpenovykh (smolyanykh) kislot, produtsiruemykh lesnymi khvoynymi derevyami Rossii. Glavnym obektom obsuzhdeniya yavlyayutsya kisloty, poluchaemye tekhnologichnymi metodami iz zhivits, kanifoli, a takzhe ekstraktsiey otkhodov lesopromyshlennogo kompleksa. Novym v podkhode yavlyaetsya predstavlenie proizvodnykh smolyanykh kislot kak predmeta tonkogo organicheskogo sinteza i meditsinskoy khimii. Vpervye obobshcheny dannye o farmakologicheskikh svoystvakh smolyanykh kislot i ikh proizvodnykh, poluchennykh putem tselenapravlennogo sinteza. Sobrany svedeniya o farmakologii rastitelnykh metabolitov, imeyushchikh rodstvennye struktury s obsuzhdaemymi smolyanymi kislotami. Obobshcheny rezultaty issledovaniy uchenykh Rossii, v tom chisle avtorov monografii, posvyashchennykh tselenapravlennym prevrashcheniyam smolyanykh kislot, a takzhe vyyavleniyu farmakologicheski perspektivnykh novykh proizvodnykh. Sdelan aktsent na tselesoobraznosti privlecheniya proizvodnykh smolyanykh kislot i drugikh metabolitov drevesnykh rasteniy v kachestve predmeta issledovaniy, napravlennykh na razrabotku originalnykh lekarstvennykh preparatov. Dlya spetsialistov v oblasti khimii rastitelnykh veshchestv, tonkogo organicheskogo sinteza, meditsinskoy khimii i khimii vysokomolekulyarnykh soedineniy. The main object of discussion is the acid obtained technological methods of jevic, rosin, and extraction of waste timber industry. The new approach is the representation of the derivatives of resin acids as a subject of fine organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. For the first time compiled data on the pharmacological properties of resin acids and their derivatives obtained by targeted synthesis. Contains information about the pharmacology of plant metabolites that have a related structure with the resin acids. Summarizes the results of the research of Russian scientists, including the authors of the monograph dedicated to the targeted transformation of resin acids, as well as the identification of pharmacologically promising new derivatives. The emphasis on expediency of attraction of derivatives of resin acids and other metabolites of woody plants as the subject of studies aimed at the development of original medicines. For specialists in the field of plant chemistry, organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry and chemistry of macromolecular compounds.
