Мемориал Егерн — памятник жертвам геноцида армян в Османской империи 1915 года. Появлению памятника в 1965 году предшествовал архитектурный конкурс. Эта небольшая книга рассказывает об авторах конкурсных проектов, истории проведения конкурса, и о его влиянии на дальнейшую судьбу современной армянской архитектуры. Очень скоро, после строительства мемориала, все, что относилось к конкурсу, было забыто или утрачено. В течение последующих пятидесяти лет фактически это уже был неизвестный конкурс. Спустя полвека, в год столетия геноцида, автору удалось найти некоторые важные факты конкурсных событий, которые сегодня являются важным дополнением к истории армянской архитектуры ХХ столетия. Memorial of the massacre — a monument to the victims of the Armenian genocide in Ottoman Empire in 1915. The appearance of the monument in 1965, was preceded by an architectural competition.
