В представленной работе дается анализ марксистской теории исторического материализма, последовательно описывается время зарождения социалистических взглядов в России, ленинский период борьбы за новую жизнь, включая революции 1905 и 1917 гг. и последующую деятельность В.И. Ленина, направленную на сохранение и укрепление советской власти. Предпринята попытка выделения основных теоретических отличий между марксизмом и ленинизмом, выявления роли религии в переломное время революций. Ретроспективные события прошлого оцениваются с позиции синергетической теории. Автор, переживающий, по его словам, "крушение Советского Союза и молчаливое угасание народа", полагает важным уяснить значение марксистско-ленинского наследия для будущей России. "Очень хочется верить, что русские найдут в себе силы для объединения с другими народами и пойдут по пути созидания более справедливой жизни, то есть социализма", - говорит автор книги, кандидат философских наук И. Зернов.

In the presented work the analysis of the Marxist theory of historical materialism, consistently describes the emergence of socialist views in Russia, Lenin's struggle for a new life, including the revolutions of 1905 and 1917 and the subsequent work of Lenin, aimed at the preservation and strengthening of the Soviet power. An attempt to highlight the main theoretical differences between Marxism and Leninism, identify the role of religion in a crucial time of the revolution. Retrospective events of the past are evaluated from the position of synergetic theory. The author, experiencing, in his words, "the collapse of the Soviet Union and the tacit extinction of the people", believes that it is important to understand the value of the Marxist-Leninist legacy for the future of Russia. "I'd like to believe that the Russian will find the strength to merge with other Nations and will go the way of building a more fair life, that is socialism," says the author, candidate of philosophical Sciences Igor Zernov.
