Поэт, сценарист, кинорежиссер Алексей Илюшкин (р. 1978) живет в Москве. Книга "Размеры зверств" писалась два года. В 26 году тексты были выложены в интернете, на платформе арт-группы "Что делать?" (куратор - Д. Виленский). Со стороны профессиональных литераторов стихи встретили жесткую критику, а сам автор был заклеймен как "гопник" ("Неужели вот ЭТО пример не то что левого, но вообще "вменяемого" искусства?"). Издание книги совпадает с выходом первого игорового фильма Илюшкина "Волны".

V 26 godu teksty byli vylozheny v internete, na platforme art-gruppy "CHto delat?" (kurator - D. Vilenskiy). So storony professionalnykh literatorov stikhi vstretili zhestkuyu kritiku, a sam avtor byl zakleymen kak "gopnik" ("Neuzheli vot ETO primer ne to chto levogo, no voobshche "vmenyaemogo" iskusstva?"). Izdanie knigi sovpadaet s vykhodom pervogo igorovogo filma Ilyushkina "Volny".

The book "Dimensions of the atrocities" was written two years. In 2006, the texts were posted on the Internet, on the platform of the art group "What to do?" curator Dmitry Vilensky). By professional writers poems met strong criticism, and the author was branded as "Gopnik" ("is this is an example not something that left, but in a "realistic" art?"). The publication of the book coincides with the release of the first feature film Ilyushkina - "Waves".
