Похоже, участь Российской академии наук решена. И до нее докатилась очередь реформ. Только вот с каким знаком они будут проводиться - большой вопрос. Надеяться, что все обернется положительно, вряд ли приходится. Судите сами: взялись реформировать школьное и высшее образование. Имеем сплошь неграмотное поколение; реформа на селе привела к тому, что теперь приходится завозить продовольствия больше, чем раньше; реформа в армии обернулась посадкой под арест ее организаторов; реформа в медицине - это нынешние эпидемии давно забытых, канувших в лету, болезней... Может, надо остановиться с "реформами", посмотреть, что уже понаделали?
И все же, отчаиваться никак нельзя. Даже, если власть рубит сук, на котором сидит. Даже, если она без мозгов. Как сказано в Обращении Президиума РАН к научному сообществу: "Государству объективно требуются и ученые, и фундаментальная наука, даже если оно иногда перестает это понимать".

Kak skazano v Obrashchenii Prezidiuma RAN k nauchnomu soobshchestvu: "Gosudarstvu obektivno trebuyutsya i uchenye, i fundamentalnaya nauka, dazhe esli ono inogda perestaet eto ponimat".
