Пьеса М. А. Булгакова (1891-1940) "Дни Турбиных", созданная на основе знаменитого романа "Белая гвардия", посвящена переломному моменту истории России - революции и Гражданской войне, раз и навсегда изменившим жизнь русской интеллигенции. Это сочинение Булгакова называли "Вишневым садом" белого движения, ибо с необыкновенным теплом и сочувствием изобразил писатель белых офицеров, стоявших перед нравственным выбором и пытавшихся разобраться в происходящем. На сцене МХАТа спектакль оставался в репертуаре с 1926 года по 1941-й и за это время был показан почти 1000 раз. В настоящее издание вошла также пьеса "Александр Пушкин", где Булгаков по-своему представляет развитие событий, приведших к трагической гибели великого поэта.

V nastoyashchee izdanie voshla takzhe pesa "Aleksandr Pushkin", gde Bulgakov po-svoemu predstavlyaet razvitie sobytiy, privedshikh k tragicheskoy gibeli velikogo poeta.
