Предлагается новое решение ряда традиционных вопросов теории интонации в свете лингвистической теории высказывания. Специальный раздел книги посвящен типологии интонационных систем различных языков. Монография построена на материале романских языков с привлечением данных русского языка.

This book discusses the theoretical problems of linguistic modeling of intonation. We propose a new solution of the traditional questions of the theory of intonation in the light of linguistic theory statements. Special attention is paid to the analysis implemented by the intonation of the language features and functions of communication, and concept unit, and with respect to intonation. A special section of the book is devoted to the typology of intonation systems of different languages. The monograph is built on the material of the romance languages, involving the Russian language.
