Pospelov N. S. Reflections on Russian Grammar: Selected Works The present publication of the selected grammar works of the well-known Soviet philologist N. S. Pospelov (1890--1984) has been timed to his birth centenary. The collected articles expound the main pointes of Pospelov's grammatical conceptions concerning the parts-of-speech theory, the category of tenses and the complex syntactical whole. These ideas have influenced to a considerable extent the development of linguistic thought in the domain of Russian philology and therefore have won due acknowledgement both with Soviet and foreign linguists. The two last articles are dedicated to the analysis of the syntactic structure of metrical speech in Pushkin's poem "Eugene Onegin". The collection is addressed to a wide circle of philologists --- comprising linguists, instructors and professors, postgraduates and students.
