Книга о любви. "Еще раз про любовь?", - скептично усмехается опытный читатель... Да, о любви - ненасытной и хрупкой. И нелюбви. И еще о стране, о "новых шестидесятниках", то есть только родившихся тогда, о том, что они успели или не успели. О спорном - загадочной (для кого-то, а нам так понятной) славянской душе. О настоящем, вытекающем из прошлого, и, по возможности, с иронией; иначе можно свихнуться... О диковинных местах - от Северного полюса до Южного. И снова о своей стране, и о любви. Каждый хотя бы раз слыхал: Россия - один из двух сильнейших продавцов технологичных оборонных комплексов. Бывали годы, даже совсем недавно, когда она выходила в лидеры. И это феноменально. Уж так вышло, что сложные системы вооружений, ну и еще космос - чуть ли неединственное, в чем страна умело соперничает на рынках мира благодаря мозгам и рукам своих людей, а не только из предопределенности былого отвоевания ею беспредельных земель с ископаемым богатством, лесами, водами. Вооружения - немыслимые деньги, поэто му движение оборонного товара между государствами не имеет моральной составляющей, и не способно иметь. И возможно ли вовлеченному в это Око Тайфуна (в нашем случае - соотечественнику) сохранить в себе обычнейшие человеческие свойства: будь то этика поступков, или жалость к слабому, или ответственность за свои слова, или разграничение между физиологией и настоящим чувством к женщине?
