Настоящая монография посвящена приложениям современных методов статистики временных рядов к решению задач интерпретации геофизических экспериментальных данных, возникающих при мониторинге региональной сейсмичности и изучении строения Земли с помощью сейсмических волн от землетрясений. Цель применения этих методов --- синтез оптимальных алгоритмов компьютерной обработки сейсмических данных. Оптимальность алгоритмов обработки достигается путем учета статистических характеристик помех, маскирующих полезные сейсмические "сигналы", что позволяет во многих практических ситуациях существенно повысить точность и надежность интерпретации сейсмических наблюдений.
